htmlEdit is designed to be completely private. It does not collect, store, transmit or share any of your data.
Nothing. htmlEdit has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising. We do not see anything you do in the app.
The HTML files you open and edit stay on your Mac. htmlEdit only reads and writes the files you explicitly choose to open or save. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
htmlEdit never sends your files or any data about you over the internet. The one exception is your own document: because htmlEdit renders your HTML exactly as written, a file you open may load resources it references, such as web fonts or images hosted elsewhere. That request comes from the document's own contents, goes only to whoever it names, and includes nothing about you. Open only files you trust.
